Chocolate chip peanut butter cookies are a yummy spin-off of both chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies!
What I love about this recipe is that even though you have to chill your cookies, it's not for too long.
If you are a peanut butter fan, you will love this recipe because it is so simple to make, and the flavor is there.
To make these cookies more peanut butter flavored, you can stuff some peanut butter inside as I did with my Nutella cookies or add Reese's Pieces.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 sticks butter, warm
1 1/3 cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
STEPS:
In the bowl in a stand mixer, cream the butter, two sugars, and peanut butter together. Add the eggs and mix well. Slowly add the flour and baking soda. Stir in chocolate chips and place the bowl into the freezer to chill for 10 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. With an ice cream scoop, roll out 5-6 balls of cookie dough. Place onto the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Repeat until finished.
Enjoy!
