The classes are great fun, and only two hours long. The kids will learn so much, and of course make many treats, without the parents lifting a finger! I hope to see you at camp!
Nevertheless, days like today (when it's raining and cold) you just want to sit down on a couch and binge watch endlessly.
Or you can make this amazing marinara sauce recipe. Plus while it's simmering you've got one hour to spare - why not watch something fun? :)
I like to put this sauce on pizzas, pastas, really anything. It's packed with tomatoes, and has a hint of sweetness, that makes it truly perfect.
|Level: 👩🏽🍳👩🏽🍳|Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes|Serves: 4|
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cups Pomi Chopped Tomatoes
3 tablespoons onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Dried Basil/Pepper/Salt/Oregano, to taste
Heat olive oil in a pan for 1 minute. Add onions, and turn the heat to low. Cook (stirring constantly) for 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Pour in your tomatoes sugar, and seasoning. Immediately simmer over low heat for an hour.
Cool for a few minutes, and pour into a container.
