Week 14: Honey and Brie Grilled Cheese

Grilled cheese with tomato soup is my absolute favorite comfort meal. You can never go wrong with it.

However, sometimes the basic grilled cheese can get boring. Today, I'm sharing my new favorite way to eat a sandwich.


I added honey and brie (instead of mozzarella or cheddar) to elevate the dish. If you want you can put basil in the sandwich, it tastes great paired with soup.


Next time you have a party or a gathering, make sure to serve this recipe because it always gets a lot of compliments!

 

RECIPE


INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 slices of bread

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 6 oz brie, sliced

STEPS:

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the other side, drizzle the honey and place the cheese on top. Cover with another slice of bread and repeat for the remaining sandwiches.

  2. Grease a skillet over medium-high heat with butter and place your sandwich on it. Cook on each side for two to three minutes until the cheese has melted.
