Day 315: Apple Chips

Meet my latest snack favorite: apple chips! These are sugar-free and healthy baked apple chips.

All you got to do is cut the apples into slices, sprinkles some ground cinnamon, and bake them!

Use your sweetest apples because we're not going to add any added sugar. If you want, sprinkle pumpkin pie spice instead of just ground cinnamon!

I find that 1/4" thick apple slices work best. Too thin, they'll burn in a flash, and too thick, they will be chewy and not crisp.

No apples? No problem! You can try out using pears, and other similar fruit. It's a really simple and easy snack.

RECIPE:


INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 sliced apples, cored and sliced

  • 2 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

STEPS:

  1. Arrange the apples over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the cinnamon over all the apple slices.

  2. Bake at 250 degrees for 1-2 hours. Cool the apples so that they crisp up.
