Day 30: Cheesy Breadsticks

This recipe is super simple and quick, perfect for snack! You can twist the breadsticks, or you can top with cheese like I did. Both ways tastes amazing!

The dough doesn't really rise, so it's not really worth it to proof it.

Put a lot of cheese so that you can't see the bottom of these breadsticks. I tried this way (photo), but I had to add more cheese when it was baking.

Cut and serve!



1/2 cup warm water

1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoons salt

1/8 cup oil

1 1/2 bread flour

1 1/4 teaspoons yeast

1/4 cup mozzarella cheese


Preheat oven 375 degrees and grease a baking sheet.

Let yeast sit for 5 minutes and add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and whisk to combined. Make a well in the center and add yeast and oil. Knead for a few minutes and roll out 3/4" thick and form into a rectangle. Add cheese and bake for 10-15 minutes.
