Day 48: Bantam Bagels

Have you ever been to Starbucks and tried their amazing Bantam Bagels? Well I have, and they are sooooooo tasty! To make this recipe I used my bagel recipe and just put some jam and peanut butter in as the filling - you can use cream cheese, but I just didn't have any at home. Make sure you don't have any holes in your bagels, otherwise the filling will leak.

Make sure you don't let any leaks slip by you! Otherwise your filling will leak.

FUN FACT: EGG WASH IS USED TO NOT ONLY MAKE YOUR DOUGH GOLDEN BROWN BUT TO ALSO SEALS DOUGH TOGETHER!

RECIPE:

INGREDIENTS:

My bagel recipe + egg wash

Jam/Peanut Butter/Cream Cheese (ANYTHING)!

STEPS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and butter a baking sheet.

Make the dough, then roll out a small ball. Flatten it out until it looks kind of like a small dough bowl. Then put in filling and pinch up the corners. Place on baking sheet and brush with egg wash. Bake for 20 minutes.

Enjoy!
