Before I talk about this yummy Indian pizza, I have an announcement to make! From now on, every Sunday (starting next week), you can request your name at my email boredombaking@gmail.com! I will leave them at your doorstep so also add your address!
Nevertheless, today I made a makhani pizza. Instead of the usual tomato sauce you can use: my garam masala (down below) and instead of mozzarella you can try out: Paneer!!!
The spice in this sauce is pretty strong. So, if you don't like it too much, change your spices how ever much you want!
Roll your dough around the edges so that it doesn't spill over the sides.
This recipe is definitely worth the hassle!
Level: 👩🏽🍳👩🏽🍳👩🏽🍳
Serves: 6
Time: 1 hour
Tip: Make sure to plan out your time. The sauce takes around 20 minutes.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 of my deep dish pizza dough
7-8 ounces paneer cubes
2 teaspoons oil
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 garam masala
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
makhani sauce
STEPS:
Have your pizza dough ready and preheat your oven to: 425 degrees F.
In a bowl combine, paneer and oil. Mix together with a spoon. Then in a smaller bowl combine cornstarch, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, paprika, fennel seeds, and salt. Sprinkle the spice blend into the paneer.
Spread the Makhni sauce over the pizza and add the paneer. You can add other vegetables as well! Bake for 16 minutes.
Enjoy!
