Day 199: Homemade Udon Noodles

Hello everybody, I'm so excited for tomorrow! I can hardly wait. Today I decided to make udon noodles. They're fun and only require 10 minutes of hands on cooking!

Udon noodles are so good. I have them every week, it's that tasty. I can't believe I never even posted them!

Plus they're pretty easy. They require only one hour of resting and are cooked in five minutes. The folding is really simple as well. Make sure you use a lot of flour, so you're noodles are cut easily.

  1. First you lightly flour your huge rectangle.

  2. Then take fold one end 1/3 of the way. Lightly flour again.

  3. Fold over so you have a rectangle and cut down strips. You'll magically have udon noodles!

You probably already have all the ingredients in your kitchen right now! Go ahead and make a batch! Stay tuned for tomorrow's post. 😉
