1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
1 tablespoon finely chopped, culinary grade dried lavender
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F. Combine all your ingredients in a large bowl. The batter will be thick. Grease a muffin tin with baking spray.
With an ice cream scoop (a spoon will work), drop the batter into the prepared muffin tin. You want the muffin batter to be piled high in a large dome.
Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick/skewer comes out clean.
