I know this is a baking blog, but how can you say no to ice cream?
Have you ever dreamt of the perfect ice cream that was
1. Super fast
2. Simple
3. Fruity, but sweet
Well long no more, because today I present to you, mango ice cream!
First I made a vanilla ice cream base, which was SUPER quick! Then I moved on to the mango pulp. For the mango pulp I used an Alphonso mango pulp. I pureed it until in was the same consistency as milk.
I added the pureed mango into the vanilla base.
Then I mango ice cream, into the ice cream maker and started it.
It's starting to become ice cream!
And that was it, so simple!
RECIPE:
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla paste
3/4 cup mango pulp
STEPS:
1. Whisk together milk and sugar in a medium bowl. Then add heavy whipping cream and vanilla paste in.
2. Puree the mango pulp and add to the vanilla ice cream base.
3. Pour the now mango ice cream into the ice cream maker and start. Churn for around 20 minutes. *
