Day 151: Mango Lassi

Mango lassi is one of my favorite drinks. It's cool, sweet and tart all at the same time.

A lassi is a yogurt based drink. So when you say "mango lassi" you're basically saying mango blended with yogurt.

Lassi's are very popular in Indian restaurants. They can come in all sorts of flavors! My absolute favorite flavor is mango lassi. Mango lassi is perfect for summer! It can be made with fresh mangoes or frozen mango pulp. It only needs a few ingredients:

  1. Mangoes

  2. Milk

  3. Yogurt

  4. Sugar

Sugar is optional because sometimes frozen mango pulp has sugar already added so make sure to check the label. Make sure to use your sweetest mangoes if using fresh. It will make a world of difference.

Mango lassi is super forgiving, just go by taste, and it will be okay!
