Day 126: Strawberry Jam

Every year around June/July we'll always make a huge batch of strawberry jam using fresh strawberries from our garden. It always tastes sooo good.

Well, this year was definitely an exception...

We forgot to hang that net that you hangover your plants to stop animals from eating it.

Yeah, so I guess you know what happens next. The bunnies ate all of them. Every. Single. Strawberry. Taking the roots out, and eating them all.

So I made this jam with store-bought strawberries - which is still amazing, but it's not the same.

Nevertheless, whether you use your freshly harvested strawberries, or you use store-bought ones as I did, it will turn out outstanding! I like to eat this with toasted bread. It makes a delicious breakfast or snack!
