It’s the perfect time to bake up some delicious holiday treats, starting either this peppermint chocolate bundt cake.

Nothing screams winter than peppermint and chocolate. It’s such a decadent combination.

I love how this cake is made in one bowl. It comes together so quickly; it only takes an two hours maximum.

Plus, by serving this cake in a bundt cake, it looks so fancy and elevated. It's an essential holiday winter dessert!
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
Cake:
1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
1/3 cup yogurt
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup self rising flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
Icing:
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup chocolate chips
STEPS:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F, and spray a bundt cake with nonstick cooking spray.
In a pot, over medium heat, melt the butter. Add eggs, sugar, yogurt, peppermint extract, followed by flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
Pour the batter into the bundt pan and bake for 45 minutes.
Allow the cake to cool to room temperature and make the icing.
In a pot, heat the heavy cream for three minutes over medium heat. Add the chocolate and stir until the mixture thickens.
Pour over cake and serve.
