Because it's Easter today, I thought I should make these Easter cookies. They actually turned out really good. Another option you have is to cut out bunnies instead, which would be so cute! You might be wondering what the weird brown seeds are - yes they are flaxseed. It turns out that if you mix some flaxseed and water in is an egg! So I did this because obviously I didn't have eggs at hand! 🥚 I made this egg cookie cutter by bending a steel circle cutter into this kind of

Day 30: Cheesy Breadsticks
This recipe is super simple and quick, perfect for snack! You can twist the breadsticks, or you can top with cheese like I did. Both ways tastes amazing! The dough doesn't really rise, so it's not really worth it to proof it. Put a lot of cheese so that you can't see the bottom of these breadsticks. I tried this way (photo), but I had to add more cheese when it was baking. Cut and serve! RECIPE: INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cup warm water 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/2 teaspoons salt

The Spinach puree is super easy, just stir everything on a pan for 5 minutes and then puree it in a blender! Once you add all the ingredients and knead together, proof for an hour and you're all ready to go! Today my sister had spring break so she was free, and she decided to help me, and make the purees. Happy 3 week anniversary of The Bored Baker! Wow, I can't believe we have got this far! This blueberry curd tart is inspired by Tasty and lokokitchen! I served mine with mangoes, and they add a great tang to the sweet curd. I used a cake pan because I didn't have a tart tin. It works just the same (except for the texture), just make sure you don't fill your crust all the way to the top! Whisk constantly until it thickens. Bake for 16 minutes.
